Podcast Booth Guide: Designing for Independence

An equipment-specific, multilingual guide designed to help patrons navigate a public recording space independently.

01 / CONTEXT

Why it mattered.

Public access to recording equipment requires instructions that work at the point of use, including for visitors with different language needs.

02 / THE RESPONSE

What I built.

Created a concise, front-and-back visual reference for a public podcast recording booth, using consistent lettered callouts across English, Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian Creole editions.

  • Structured the booth workflow as a concise visual reference
  • Connected on-page steps to equipment and screen callouts
  • Prepared four language editions with consistent visual organization
