CURRICULUM / INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN
LEARN.
Less prerequisite. More hands-on practice.
SCROLL TO EXPLORE ↓Pro Tools: Rebuilding the Learning Experience
Restructuring complex Pro Tools instruction into a more accessible, practice-centered learning experience.
Why it mattered.
A lengthy prerequisite sequence created a high barrier to hands-on use. The instruction needed a clearer route from demonstration to independent practice.
What I built.
Reworked a five-level Pro Tools instructional sequence into two levels and subsequently a single two-hour class, with further condensation to suit local attendance constraints.
- Reorganized the original multi-level sequence
- Created structured instructor exercise plans
- Built practical editing and session-management exercises
- Developed a visual Pro Tools Basics reference booklet
From five levels, to two, to a condensed two-hour class. The material was subsequently shortened further to fit local scheduling constraints.
